It’s finally happened! I’ve become genuinely interested in something that has nothing to do with computers or games, or TV, or litterature, something that actually let’s me get out and move my butt! Longboarding has been my salvation.
I managed (as I all to often do) infect my youngest nephew, Sebastian, with this same interest. He manages to show complete lack of fear even when he’s managed t fall over and scrape both his hands and knees. He makes me feel both a little old, and a little bit… well wimpy, I suppose. I can’t imagine myself falling over so many times and still continuing to get up.

I guess I should thank my dear boyfriend for his help, introducing the impossibly amusing sport to me… or actually, can it be considered a sport? It’s really just cruising around and looking cool, whether you try or not.
